Department: Business Development Reporting to: Founder / Sales Head Employment Type: Full-time, Work from Office Accommodation: Included Role Overview The Telesales Team Lead will be responsible for • Driving inside sales performance. • Managing and mentoring the telesales team. • Improving conversion rates. • Ensuring consistent follow-ups with customers, retailers, and distributors.  This role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication skills, and the ability to build discipline, motivation, and accountability within the team. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management • Lead, guide, and motivate the telesales team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. • Act as the first point of contact for telesales executives. • Conduct daily huddles, call reviews, and performance discussions. • Train new team members on product knowledge, scripts, and objection handling. Sales Execution • Ensure effective outbound and inbound calling to retailers, distributors, and customers • Monitor call quality, pitch accuracy, and closing techniques • Support the team in closing high-value or difficult leads • Ensure proper follow-ups and relationship building Process & Performance Tracking • Track daily call reports, conversions, and revenue. • Identify gaps in performance and take corrective actions. • Maintain discipline in CRM / lead tracking systems. • Share regular performance updates with management. Coaching & Skill Development • Conduct regular role-plays and refresher training. • Help team members improve confidence, communication, and closing skills. • Encourage ethical selling and long-term customer trust. Coordination & Feedback • Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and operations teams. • Share customer feedback, objections, and market insights. • Suggest improvements in scripts, offers, and sales processes. Required Skills & Qualifications • Proven experience as a Telesales Executive and Team Lead / Inside Sales Lead(A complete telesales profile). • Experience in FMCG, food products, retail, or distribution sales preferred. • Strong communication skills in Tamil and English (mandatory) along with other languages. Multilingual opted. • Ability to lead by example and close deals personally when needed • Strong problem-solving and people-management skills. Preferred Profile • 2–5 years of experience in telesales and 1 year in Tele Sales Team Lead • Experience handling retailers / distributors / repeat customers • Comfortable working in a fast-growing, founder-driven environment • Target-oriented with a coaching mindset.  Should be available to join immediately.
