Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Tele-counselor role based in Kolkata. The Tele-counselor will serve as the primary contact for prospective students and other stakeholders, providing detailed information about courses and programs offered by Matricula. Responsibilities include answering queries, guiding students through the enrollment process, offering counseling to match candidates with suitable programs, and maintaining accurate records of interactions. Additional duties include telephonic follow-ups, building rapport with students, and supporting them in making informed educational decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and guide them through decision-making processes
• Ability to handle telephonic and digital consultations professionally and address queries accurately
• Customer service and relationship-building skills to maintain positive interactions with students and stakeholders
• Active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills to address students individual needs successfully
• Effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple inquiries and keep detailed records
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional local languages is a plus
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification; prior experience in counseling, education, or customer service roles is advantageous
