Seeking an innovative and experienced DevOps Engineer to support Advance Analytics COE Squads!! Technology Engineer – DevOps Location: Chennai / Bangalore 12 months contract. Responsibilities The Senior Technology Engineer will be responsible for managing deliverables of the squad which includes building and executing pipelines. The position plays a key role in driving the engineering function for the technologies he/she is responsible for. The engineer will be responsible for implementing all changes and delivering new technology into the bank by onboarding customers and applications to the platform via self-service and automation. Experience Required: Minimum 5 years total engineering or operational experience (3+ years in a similar role) Are you passionate about DevOps methodologies and automation? Join us as a Technology Engineer – DevOps , where you’ll play a crucial role in building, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless infrastructure operations, and driving innovation in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Pipeline Management : Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD. Automate deployment and configuration management tasks to ensure consistency and scalability. Containerization and Cloud : Deploy and manage containers using Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, or Podman. Work with public cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or OCI. Automation and IaC : Leverage tools like Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code and environment automation. Automate security and regulatory checks, as well as patching processes. Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Implement and manage monitoring solutions like ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues. Development and Collaboration : Write and optimize Python code for automation tasks. Partner with development teams to enhance microservices authentication and authorization. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Education : Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent. Experience : Minimum 5 years of engineering or operational experience (3+ years in DevOps or a similar role). Experience in large-scale, high-availability environments, ideally within the banking sector. Technical Expertise : Proficient in automation tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD. Hands-on experience with Python programming and Linux OS (including shell scripting). Strong understanding of containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker). Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible. Experience with security engineering practices and tools. Familiarity with networking fundamentals. Preferred Skills : Exposure to public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI). Experience with machine learning CI/CD pipelines and related projects.
