Hiring for Technical Support Team Leader


Position Summary

supervise day-to-day delivery, performance, and service quality

mentoring, coaching, motivating, and grooming team members


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the team, including

    resource planning, performance management, attrition management, and career planning

  • Coach and develop team members

    , bridge knowledge gaps, and address skill or motivation-related issues
  • Handle customer and user escalations

    , ensuring ownership until resolution
  • Ensure

    process compliance, KM adherence

    , and SLA achievement
  • Conduct

    internal and external governance

    as required
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers to arrange

    training, tools, and support resources

  • Perform

    quality assessments

    of agents and identify trends for performance improvement
  • Ensure team members are adequately trained to meet

    individual and team targets

  • Keep the team updated on

    process changes, new updates, and target expectations


Required Skill Set

General Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of

    Microsoft Windows troubleshooting

  • Proven experience in

    team handling and people management

  • Ability to

    coach, mentor, motivate, and engage teams

  • Excellent

    verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong

    decision-making and analytical abilities

  • Demonstrates

    patience, problem-solving mindset

    , and effective use of knowledge bases and tools


Technical Skills

  • Minimum

    5 years of experience

    in

    Service Desk / Technical Support

  • Advanced knowledge of

    Windows OS (XP to Windows 10)

  • Hands-on experience with:
  • OS troubleshooting
  • Browsers
  • MS Office Suite
  • Registry fixes
  • Patch upgrades
  • Virus troubleshooting
  • Security and encryption concepts


Education & Other Requirements

  • Any Graduate

  • Minimum

    2–3 years of relevant experience

    in Windows-based support
  • At least

    1–1.5 years of experience as a Team Leader

  • Willingness to work in

    rotational shifts
