Position Overview

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to assist our senior engineering team at the DreamAerospace Test Facility located at IIT Kanpur. The candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on technical assistance in various test and assembly operations, ensuring smooth execution of mechanical and propulsion-related experiments and setups.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in mechanical assembly of structural components.
• Conduct functional checks of test setups and mechanical systems.
• Support testing operations including preparation, monitoring, and data collection.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and calibration of test equipment and sensors.
• Assist in fabrication, fitting, and alignment of test rigs and fixtures.
• Ensure proper documentation of test results and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with the engineering team for smooth daily operations and troubleshooting.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the lab and test facility.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, assembly, and tools.
• Basic knowledge of testing equipment, sensors, and mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on experience in fabrication, fitting, or workshop operations is preferred.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow technical instructions carefully.
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Familiarity with mechanical testing environments.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, pneumatics, or basic electronics.
• Experience with CAD drawings or basic design understanding.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
