About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Technical Sales Representative with hands-on understanding of silicone molding, liquid silicone rubber (LSR), or precision component manufacturing.

The ideal hire should be able to translate manufacturing capability into business revenue, generate new clients, and manage end-to-end sales cycles from enquiry to order closure.


This role demands strong communication, presentation and client-facing ability, as the position involves interacting with OEMs, product developers, and industrial clients.


Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and convert new customers within silicone components, precision molding & industrial sectors.

• Manage the complete sales cycle - lead generation → quotation → negotiation → PO → delivery follow-up.

• Work closely with production, design & engineering teams to provide technical solutions.

• Understand material grades, hardness, tolerances, part design feasibility for quoting.

• Interpret drawings & specifications to prepare costing and proposals.

• Maintain strong ongoing relationships with existing customers to increase wallet share.

• Prepare sales reports, forecasting, customer feedback and pipeline development updates.

• Participate in exhibitions, plant visits & product demos for business development.

• Drive continuous improvement in client onboarding, communication & documentation.


Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Plastic Technology / Mechanical / Polymer / Industrial Engineering OR relevant manufacturing exposure.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical sales/business development (preferably silicone, plastics, rubber, or molding).

• Ability to understand CAD drawings, tolerances & material requirements.

• Knowledge of LSR, silicone molding, compression/transfer molding is an advantage.

• Must be comfortable with client interaction, sales presentations & negotiation.

• Strong documentation, follow-up & CRM reporting skills.

• Willingness to travel for client meetings/tradeshows when required.


Preferred Attributes

• Experience in silicone product manufacturing, rubber products, polymer-based industrial sales.

• Understanding of ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 quality systems.

• Strong communication, relationship-building & customer handling skills.

• Self-driven with ability to work independently without supervision.

• Ability to build long-term B2B relationships and drive revenue growth.
