Technical Sales Specialist

As a candidate with a technical educational background, ideally from the Robotics or Machinery Industry, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Searching for new clients in your designated region who could benefit from the products offered - Travelling to visit potential clients and establish new relationships while maintaining existing ones - Managing and interpreting customer requirements to provide tailored solutions - Persuading clients on the suitability of products/services to meet their needs - Calculating client quotations and negotiating tender/contract terms - Closing sales by agreeing on terms and conditions and providing after-sales support services - Administering client accounts, analyzing costs and sales, and preparing reports for the head office - Meeting regular sales targets In addition to the sales responsibilities, you will be involved in the following solution development, technical support, project management, product testing & development, and documentation & reporting tasks: **Solution Development:** - Analyzing client requirements and developing customized automation solutions using company products and technologies - Designing system layouts and application processes to enhance operational efficiency **Technical Support:** - Providing pre- and post-sales technical support, including product demonstrations, system integration, and troubleshooting - Training clients and internal teams on the proper use and maintenance of automation systems **Project Management:** - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget - Coordinating with clients to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives **Product Testing & Development:** - Conducting testing and validation of automation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability - Working closely with the R&D team to provide insights on potential product improvements **Documentation & Reporting:** - Preparing detailed technical documents, including system designs, user manuals, and project reports - Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and project milestones For this role, the qualifications and skills required are: - **Education:** Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automation) or related field - **Experience:** 2+ years of experience in automation, robotics, or industrial control systems - **Technical Skills:** - Proficiency in Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers, HMI, and other industrial control systems - Strong programming knowledge in languages such as Embedded C, C++, Linux, etc. - Familiarity with CAD software and system design tools - Knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, I2C, SPI, UART, USART, CAN Profibus, Ethernet/IP - **Soft Skills:** - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction - Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
