You will be joining us as a full-time on-site PLC SCADA Programmer at L&T Technology Services locations in Baroda, Chennai & Mysore. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing PLC and SCADA systems, troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing system performance, and implementing system upgrades. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that the systems meet project requirements and deadlines. To excel in this role, you should have a total of 5-8 years of experience as an Automation Engineer. Hands-on program development experience for PLC, SCADA/HMI on platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, etc. is required. Additionally, you should possess a strong understanding of communication protocols like EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA/DA, MQTT. Experience in machine program development, commissioning, IOT applications, Edge solutions, Historians, and SQL or any other database will be advantageous. Domain expertise in FMCG, Energy, Food, Pharma, and Automotive Industry segments is highly desirable. Previous experience in user acceptance testing in Process Industries will be valued.
