Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Sales Manager, located in Bengaluru. The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, providing technical support to clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They will also identify business opportunities, maintain strong client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements.

Conduct technical trials and product demonstrations at customer sites.

Address print-related issues and recommend appropriate ink solutions.

Work with vendor, distributors, technology partners and should be able to manage changing priorities

Work closely with factory operations and make sure capacity is fully utilized

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and trial results.

Engage in study of the market, customer, competition and regulatory environment in inks. Understand the clients and customer pain areas.Should have solution mindset

Work closely with the R&D team, other MTL SBUs and Marketing teams, for new products and solutions in this space. Should generate leads from clients, distributors and JV partners on his own by meeting in person or cold calls and convert into business. Should also help manage order to cash cycle

Maintain and develop long term relationships with clients on behalf of company

Candidate should be comfortable making presentations to experienced business teams and clients.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Technical/Functional Proficiency Required

Strong knowledge of offset printing processes and ink formulations

Problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach to technical issues.

Self-motivated and target driven.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Technical Sales and Sales strategy implementation
  • Experience in Account Management and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Skills in providing Technical Support to clients and addressing product-related inquiries
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in the printing inks or coatings industry is an advantage
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
