Technical Sales Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Engineer with a background in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering to join our team serving the chemical industry. You will be responsible for selling specialized equipment, materials, or chemical solutions to industrial clients by leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell process equipment, chemicals, or technical services to clients in the chemical industry.
• Analyze client requirements and offer customized technical solutions that align with operational and safety standards.
• Develop strong relationships with process engineers, procurement teams, and plant managers.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and ROI analyses.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender documents with support from engineering.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure solution feasibility and customer satisfaction.
• Stay current with chemical industry trends, regulations, and competitive products.
• Maintain sales pipeline, CRM entries, and forecasting reports.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in technical sales or process engineering within the chemical sector.
• Knowledge of process systems, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, instrumentation, or specialty chemicals.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and plant visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with HAZOP, P&IDs, or chemical process optimization.
• Experience with chemical safety regulations and environmental standards.
• CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
