RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exports Sales Management: Managing end to end exports sales process which starts from RFQ to development of parts to timely delivery of parts to customers.
  • Customer coordination: Act as single point of contact for Exports customers, addressing their enquiries, coordinating with different departments/ functions for taking the enquiry forward.
  • Backend team collaboration: Work closely with backend/ internal teams such as engineering, NPD, Operations, Quality, logistics for smooth & timely responses to customer.
  • Technical Discussions: Developing strong understanding of the technical aspect of Filtration products so that he/she would be actively participating in discussions with customer & with internal teams.
  • Documentation & compliance: Ensure all the technical documentations are prepared correctly in compliance with the international regulations.
  • Creating an RFQ (Request for quotation)
  • Customer mapping
  • Should be able to understand NPD & PPAP process.
  • Providing Technical/commercial proposals/solutions in line with customer requirement for new products or existing products
  • Price finalization and customer negotiations
  • Prepare and submit quote as per customer timeline.
  • Tracking of various development projects till the completion stage
  • To review and address customer grievances in 2-2-2-2 by coordinating the CQC (Customer quality complaint) resolution. Prepare CAPA reports and submit to the customer.
  • Competition Analysis Gathering field information of competitors.
  • Creating technical awareness among the customers for product in various campaign
  • Customer relationship management
  • Review of product related field issues
  • Exploring new business opportunities with the existing customers
  • Introduction of new products and technologies
  • Value engineering
  • Settling commercial activities like pending payments or transactional issues and recovery and reconciliation
  • To review monthly progress of NPD business achievement
  • Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitor market trends, provide regular updates to Management on sales performance, order status & customer Feedback. Key parameters to track- Sales, on time delivery in full & PPMs.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Application Engineering, Basic Engine, Filtration Basics
  • Diesel engine and its application on equipments
  • Product range and technical knowledge of our products.
  • Manufacturing and engineering related knowledge.
  • Proven experience in export sales, ideally within the filtration, manufacturing, or related industries
  • Proficiency of MS office suite, PLM & CRM.

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS:

  • Good understanding of customer requirement and means to fulfill the requirements.
  • Cool and calm attitude to maintain a diplomatic relationship with customer even under tremendous pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to discuss technical topics with both customers and internal technical teams.
  • Presentation and costing skills
  • Diplomatic and negotiating skill.
  • Demonstrates a strong problem-solving attitude and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and export orders simultaneously.
  • Go getter attitude: Pro-active & self-motivated to drive results.
  • Learning attitude: Eagerness to continuously improve knowledge & skills.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in handling customers, preferably in technical or industrial products. Experience with export or international customers is an added advantage.
  • 7-12 years
