Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  :
• Conduct regular maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner to reduce equipment downtime.
• Perform repairs, part replacements, and ensure equipment is in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  

• Preventive Maintenance

  :
• Implement and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain logs and records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
  

• Safety & Compliance

  :
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory standards during maintenance activities.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions as needed.
  

• Cross-Department Coordination

  :
• Collaborate with production, quality, and other departments to support smooth plant operations.
• Provide technical support to other teams as necessary.
  

• Administrative Duties

  :
• Maintain maintenance documentation, reports, checklists, and inventory records.
• Perform additional office-related tasks and duties as assigned by management from time to time.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Hands-on experience with tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals and engineering drawings.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
  

Work Environment

• Full-time, on-site role based in Jadcherla.
• May involve physical activity, machine handling, and occasional extended hours for critical maintenance.
