Technical Lead- SDET

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand requirements and design effective testing strategies.
• Assist the Automation Framework lead to manage and maintain a scalable automated test framework using qTest, Tosca and relevant testing tools.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate bug tracking systems and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct root cause analysis of issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Continuously improve and optimize the test automation process, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the QA team, promoting best practices and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and industry best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and measure key quality metrics and provide regular reports on the status of test efforts.
• Flexible to work on stories across projects and with various project leads.
• Learn the application system deep enough to provide root cause analysis while reporting the bug.
• Develop scripts that perform well and can run in parallel for faster delivery.
• Work towards the goal team goal of in-sprint automation
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SDET or similar role, with a focus on software testing and automation.Knowledge in selenium Java
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium or Appium.
• Proficiency in test automation tools, version control systems, and bug tracking tools.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile practices, and QA processes.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts.
