Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced geophysical interpretation and analysis products including:
• Seismic-to-well tie, Acoustic Impedance Inversion, Acoustic FD earth model building
• Time-to-depth velocity modeling and depth uncertainty analysis
• Seismic data processing, QC, and support
• 4D seismic interpretation and CCUS monitoring workflows

• Fiber-optic sensing applications (DAS/DTS/DSS) for subsurface and production monitoring

• Build and update earth models integrating seismic, DAS/DTS/DSS, and reservoir data.
• Support geophysical workflows within Petrel, DELFI, and

  DAS/DTS/DSS-enabled environments

  .
• Contribute to software testing, compliance tasks, and integration with Subsurface Platform Systems Engineers.
• Partner with internal R&D teams on advanced geophysical technology development, including ML/AI-enhanced workflows.
• Collaborate closely with global asset and exploration teams to deliver actionable geophysical insights.

Required Qualifications

• MSc degree in Earth Science (Geophysics preferred) from a recognized (AICTE/deemed) university.
• Minimum

  5 years industry experience

  in applied geophysics within oil & gas or energy sectors.
• Strong expertise in:
• Seismic interpretation, seismic-to-well tie, and acoustic impedance inversion
• FD earth modeling, time-depth velocity modeling, and uncertainty analysis

• Fiber-optic sensing technologies (DAS, DTS, DSS) for seismic and production monitoring

• Hands-on experience with

  Petrel, DELFI;

  familiarity with Hampson-Russell, Jason, or seismic processing tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of subsurface geophysical processes, reservoir modeling, and workflow integration.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary, global teams.
• Experience with ML/AI for reservoir characterization is a plus.
