Network Engineer ‿ L3 ‿ India (Pune and Hyd) (24x7 support Shift) with Work from office. Primary Skills: Networking concepts with NAC deployment experience, CCNA, CCNP. Experience: 7 to 10 years of total work experience. Required Skills: Strong experience on Routing and Switching, BGP & Cisco ASR, Juniper Routers Strong troubleshooting techniques on Networking technology Managed large enterprise WAN, LAN and WLAN networks. Hands on experience with NAC deployment. Expertise in multi vendor L2/L3 switches. In depth knowledge of LAN/WAN support for data networks at Access, Aggregation, and Core network including redundancy protocols such as HSRP, VRRP etc. In depth knowledge of WLAN technologies ‿ Wireless controller & access points. Thorough understanding of modern service provider TCP/IP data networks including MPLS, OSPF, BGP4, STP, RSTP, VTP, VLAN. Familiarity with MPLS & WAN communication technology like Internet VPN, SSL VPN. Good knowledge and hands on experience with routing and switching. Router, Switch, and IP configuration experience. Knowledge of Load Balancer, WAN Optimizer and security devices is an additional advantage. Familiarity with ITIL Framework concepts such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Flexibility for long working hours and readiness to work in 24x7 rotational shifts and weekends. Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication at all levels. Ability to work alone as an individual contributor and as a participant in a team environment. Working knowledge on Load balancer and WAN optimization Riverbed Network Engineer Job Description Duties and Responsibilities: Maintaining networks infrastructure including switches, routers, WAPs, WLCs, Load balancers, Infoblox and other physical hardware. Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues. Initiate and participate in MIBs and TABs for timely and effective network issue resolution. Installing and configuring network equipment. Monitoring networks infrastructure to improve network performance. Implementing disaster recovery procedures. Documenting current network knowledge and understanding of networking best practices. Trouble ticket updates and administration throughout the life cycle of the ticket. Customer update through issue resolution for escalated Issues Monitor and maintain N 1 OS version of the network devices as per customer defined frequency. Make data driven decisions RCA/PRB preparation & review of customer network incidents & problems. Assign/Monitor tickets in shift and make sure of SLA adherence. Contribute to MoMs, Shift Handovers, Daily shift summary reports and training documents Responsible to coach and mentor associates on new process changes/updates Product knowledge: LAN: Cisco, Avaya, Extreme & Nortel switches WAN: Cisco, Juniper, Riverbed Load Balancer and DDI: F5, NetScaler and Infoblox WLAN: Cisco, Aruba Firewalls & Cisco: Fortinet, Juniper & Cisco
