About Skippi:

Skippi is a fast-growing FMCG brand, known for being the first startup to secure an all-sharks deal on Shark Tank India. We are looking for a dynamic Sales Team Leader to manage and guide our sales representatives and ensure smooth execution of sales operations.


Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and result-oriented Sales Team Leader with 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales. The role involves supervising sales representatives/telecallers, achieving monthly sales targets, supporting key account relationships, and ensuring timely reporting. The candidate should possess strong communication skills, people management abilities, and the drive to deliver results in both B2B and B2C sales channels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Target Achievement:

    Ensure the team meets monthly sales goals and revenue targets.


  • Team Supervision:

    Manage and guide a team of on-field sales reps and telecallers, ensuring productivity and adherence to sales processes.


  • Execution of Sales Plans:

    Implement sales strategies as per company guidelines and ensure effective market execution.


  • Customer Interaction: Support in handling key accounts, distributors, and retailers; build healthy business relationships.


  • Performance Monitoring:

    Track daily/weekly sales performance of the team, identify gaps, and support in improvement.


  • Market Visits:

    Regularly visit markets to monitor sales execution, competitor activities, and gather customer feedback.


  • Reporting:

    Maintain accurate sales records, share periodic reports with management, and ensure transparency in operations.


  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with senior managers to implement promotions, new launches, and campaigns.

  • Qualifications

    • Education:

      Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 
    • Experience:

      Minimum of 3–5 years in telesales, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. 
    • Skills:

      Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data.
    • Attributes:

      Goal-oriented, proactive, and adaptable; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
