Team Leader

Job Title: Team Lead – Study Abroad

Location: Kottayam

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in Study Abroad / Overseas Education

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Team Lead – Study Abroad to manage and guide a team of counselors while driving student enrollments for international education programs. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to study abroad processes, university admissions, visa procedures, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of study abroad counselors to achieve monthly and annual enrollment targets
• Allocate leads, monitor counselor performance, and ensure timely follow-ups with students
• Oversee end-to-end student application processes including counseling, university shortlisting, documentation, admissions, and visa guidance
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of applications to partner universities and institutions
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions
• Coordinate with university partners, admission teams, and external stakeholders
• Handle escalated student and parent queries professionally and efficiently
• Track conversion ratios, application status, and visa success rates
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to management
• Support marketing initiatives such as education fairs, seminars, walk-ins, and promotional events
• Ensure compliance with company policies and international education standards.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of study abroad destinations
• In-depth understanding of admission and visa processes
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, counseling, and negotiation abilities
• Target-driven with strong analytical and reporting skills
• Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Excel, and reporting tools
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline
