Role Overview:

As a Team Lead – Website Development (Non-Coding), you will be responsible for managing

the end-to-end delivery of client websites—from discovery to launch. While the role does not

involve coding, it requires strong project management, client communication, and team

coordination skills. You will oversee timelines, ensure client satisfaction, and lead cross-

functional teams to deliver high-quality websites that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Client & Project Management:

• Lead client onboarding and requirement-gathering sessions.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the development lifecycle.

• Translate client business goals into actionable website features and design guidelines.

• Track and report progress using tools like Trello, Asana, or equivalents.

Team Coordination:

• Manage and mentor a team of designers, content uploaders, and technical support staff.

• Facilitate collaboration between design, development, and SEO teams.

• Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to enhance delivery quality.

Website Execution Oversight:

• Oversee approvals for wireframes, layout designs, and content implementation.

• Supervise content uploads (text, images, multimedia), ensuring they align with client

expectations.

• Coordinate third-party plugin integrations like chatbots.

• Conduct pre-launch QA for responsiveness, performance, and browser compatibility.

Technical & SEO Integration:

• Oversee domain registration, hosting setup, and CMS integration (WordPress, Webflow,

Wix).

• Work with the SEO team on metadata, site structure, and on-page optimization.

Key Metrics of Success:

• Client Satisfaction (CSAT): Maintain >90% through consistent quality and

communication.

• Project Timeliness: 95% of projects delivered within agreed timelines.• Website Uptime & Bug-Free Rate: Ensure 99% uptime and <2% post-launch critical

bugs.

• SEO Readiness: All launched websites to meet baseline technical SEO standards.

• Team Productivity: Show measurable quarterly improvement in delivery efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Strong ownership and team leadership abilities.

• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Wix, or Webflow.

• Basic understanding of SEO, UI/UX principles, and web analytics.

• Highly organized, resourceful, and result-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing website development projects (without hands-on coding).

• Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Trello, Asana, Jira.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Design, SEO, Tech).
