Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer – Team Lead to oversee our QA automation efforts and manage a team of test engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in test automation tools and frameworks, a deep understanding of SDLC/STLC, and proven experience in leading QA teams. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategy, execution, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of QA automation engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Define, implement, and maintain test automation strategies and frameworks.
• Develop and execute robust automated test suites for web, mobile, and API layers.
• Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups to ensure QA alignment.
• Perform code reviews of automation scripts and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Own and manage the QA environment setup, data creation, and test configuration.
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work closely with development to resolve issues.
• Continuously evaluate and improve test coverage, speed, and effectiveness.
• Report QA metrics and provide risk assessments to leadership.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for scripting automation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA lifecycle.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and cross-browser testing tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in leading or mentoring QA teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
