UK PCS Trust Account - Tax Consultant II/Senior

Work you’ll do
At the Analyst level we are looking for candidates to join our UK Trust Team who will be trained to be responsible for:
- Analysis of the data, extracting and processing information to produce and prepare trust accounts using software and automated process
- Preparation of inheritance tax (IHT) computations and any resultant IHT returns
- Preparation of UK trust tax returns (including Employee Benefit Trusts (EBTs))
- Preparation of Estate tax returns
- Ensure quality is of the highest standard and the client service is exceptional
- Good communication skills
- Working with the UK team as part of a wider team to complete required volumes of work
Your Professional Experience
- Strong evidence of book-keeping experience
- Strong understanding of the self-assessment trust return process and compliance cycle
- Strong trust technical knowledge and skills and keen to develop into a specialist role
- Prior experience of Trusts and Estates is desirable but not necessary
- AAT or ATT qualification, or equivalent, is desirable but not essential. Support will be available to sit these exams or to expand any existing qualifications, together with further applicable learning
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Methodical and organized working skills
- Ability to follow defined procedures and protocols
- Proactive approach to work and completing work by required deadlines
- Experience of assisting in developing and maintain client team relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as sound written and oral skills
- Excellent IT skills including a good understanding of Excel
Qualifications Required:
✓ Full time Bachelors/master’s degree in finance or equivalent from reputed University✓ Excellent written and verbal communication skills✓ High level of attention to detail & well organized✓ Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines✓ Work collaboratively in a team, providing assistance and support to others, when needed✓ Knowledge of Microsoft Office products — In particular, Excel and Word✓ Knowledge of SWIFT will be an advantage
