Private Client Tax Compliance - Manager (8 to 10 Years Exp)

Roles & Responsibility:

• Ensuring client queries are responded to efficiently.
• Ensuring WIP analysis and billing are kept up to date.
• Ensuring files are of an appropriate standard for QCR purposes.
• Ensuring timely completion and submission of personal, trust and estate tax returns
• Managing and developing a team of private client tax individuals • Liaising with HMRC regarding various issues.
• Assesses and produces high quality work in line with the Firm's policy and processes, meeting relevant regulatory requirements.

What are we looking for?

• Holds relevant professional qualification (e.g. CTA) or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience of personal tax services.
• Experience of managing a personal tax portfolio .
• Experience of training and managing a team to support the delivery of your work.
• Proficiency with personal tax on CCH Central would be an advantage.
• Experience of preparing and reviewing UK personal income tax returns for high net worth individuals, self employed persons, employees (and ideally partnerships as well, but not essential).
• Experience of reporting and dealing with savings and investment income, trust income, inheritance tax knowledge , exp. In dealing with privately owned business and partnerships

Assistant Manager - Global Mobility (5 to 8 Years Exp)

Role & Responsibilities:

• To manage all day-to-day aspects of a client portfolio, this will include the following:
• Conducting arrival and departure meetings with international assignees. • Reviewing UK tax returns and dealing with any queries arising.
• Managing modified expatriate payrolls, gross up calculations and the year-end process. • Strong Financial management.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide a high level of client service. • Manage and coach junior members of the team to ensure a high standard of client delivery.
• To be the primary contact point for both the corporate clients and the individual expatriates.
• Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business driven approach. • Manage risk appropriately for both clients and the firm.
• Deliver advisory work on your portfolio and assist more senior members of the team with specific advisory projects.

Senior Tax Compliance (3 to 5 Years Exp)

Roles & Responsibility:

• Relevant UK tax experience.
• Practical Knowledge of current GM advisory issues including SRT, FIG, Social Security and PWD post Brexit, Double tax treaties, NRDs, modified payroll, remote workers, PAYE obligations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills with clients and staff at all levels with the ability to build rapport and develop strong relationships.
• Ability to understand the full range of the firm's service offering and translating that into identifying new work opportunities.
• Commercial awareness and a practical, business driven approach.
