Talent Acquisition Sourcer

Responsibilities

  • Use a breadth of tools (LinkedIn Recruiter/Gem/Greenhouse/Avature) to identify and drive qualified consulting candidates into our candidate pool
  • Provide research about talent communities that helps influence and guide business decisions
  • Build and maintain a network of prospective candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management.
  • Utilize various techniques to engage passive candidates by selling the core values and employer value proposition of Telus Digital
  • Conduct in-depth initial screening interviews of candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview to offer extend ratios
  • Utilize our CRM to store, maintain and plan engagement with our talent community
  • Deliver an awesome candidate experience by responding to messages in a timely manner
  • Assist in the development organization of recruiting events

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience recruiting for roles related to engineering, technology, design, digital products, data, and/or AI/ML
  • Strong experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates in a highly competitive industry/market
  • Ability to manage a high-volume of candidates and diverse set of requirements.
  • Strong experience in LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Commitment to sourcing underrepresented talent and providing an inclusive hiring process
  • Experience establishing consultative relationships and building trust with candidates and hiring managers
  • Ability to bring creative and innovative sourcing strategies and ideas to fruition
  • Can flexibly adapt recruiting strategies and processes to changing business requirements and headcount plans
  • Proficient in communicating and writing in English

Bonus Points

  • In-house recruiting experience, preferably within the tech or design industry
  • Understanding of recruiting metrics and how to utilize data to influence hiring decisions and improve processes
  • Experience with recruiting tools such as: Greenhouse, Gem, scheduling software, Workday Recruiting, Avature and Jobvite
