The Talent Sourcing Specialist is part of the EMEA & APAC Sourcing Hub, supporting sourcing and recruitment activities for Smith+Nephew GBS Services. The role covers APAC or EMEA regions, with the possibility of supporting additional markets based on business priorities. Experience in either region is an advantage, and flexibility in working hours is required to collaborate across multiple time zones.

The Specialist works closely with Recruiters, TA Leads, and Hiring Managers to identify and attract talent using various sourcing methods. Key responsibilities include building candidate pipelines, conducting phone screenings, reviewing CVs, and providing coordination support such as interview scheduling, job postings, database management, and developing role-specific pipelines.

What will you be doing?

  • Sources candidates through multiple channels, including direct sourcing (LinkedIn, Naukri/Global Job Portal), internal databases (Workday), job boards, referrals, networking, and social media.
  • Manages the initial stages of hiring, including sourcing and screening CVs, conducting phone interviews, shortlisting candidates, and scheduling interviews.
  • Works closely with TA Specialists, TA Leads, and Hiring Managers to ensure a clear understanding of the required skills, experience, and role requirements.
  • Collaborates with the TA team on recruitment projects such as EVP initiatives, candidate experience surveys, pipeline development, recognition programs, reporting, and hiring manager education.
  • Develops innovative recruitment strategies, identifies new sourcing channels, shares best practices, and provides industry and market insights to support the TA team.
  • Promotes Smith & Nephews Culture Pillars and Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to engage candidates, while actively driving Diversity & Inclusion by attracting talent from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

What will you need to be successful?

  • The ideal candidate holds an MBA/PGDM or a bachelors degree in Business Management, HR, or a related field, with

    Min 3--8

    years of experience as a Recruiter or Sourcing Specialist in an RPO, agency, onsite, or in-house model.
  • Strong expertise in talent sourcing, including

    Boolean and X-ray searches

    ,

    LinkedIn, Global Job Portals and Naukri

    , is required, along with familiarity with ATS systems like Workday and the use of AI tools.
  • The candidate should also be skilled in recruiting strategies, screening, and interviewing, with a customer-focused mindset, innovative thinking, and strong organizational abilities.
  • This role is part of the EMEA & APAC Sourcing Team, supporting TA Specialists, Leads, and Hiring Managers across the regions.
  • Should be comfortable working with APAC & European/UK working hrs.
