About the Role

IT Talent Acquisition Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for IT roles (sourcing ? screening ? interviews ? offer ? onboarding).
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver suitable talent pipelines.
  • Source candidates using job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, and other innovative channels.
  • Screen candidates for technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate records and progress.
  • Coordinate and schedule technical interviews with hiring managers and panel members.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for recurring technical roles (Developers, DevOps, QA, Cloud, Data, SRE, Architecture, etc.).
  • Conduct HR discussions regarding compensation, notice period, and joining availability.
  • Manage candidate communication to ensure a positive hiring experience.
  • Track recruitment metrics (TAT, source efficiency, position status, pipeline health).
  • Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment drives/hackathons.
  • Stay updated with market trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of IT roles & technologies (e.g., Java, Python, Cloud, DevOps, Data Engineering, QA, Security, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder & vendor management skills.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment analytics.
  • Result-oriented mindset with strong ownership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT recruitment (corporate or agency).
  • Technical understanding or certifications (preferred, not mandatory).
