Job Type: Full-time, remote work arrangement, 12-month contract (extendable / renewable) role Reporting Line: Singapore Expected Start Date: September 2025 Our client, a globally renowned business school consistently ranked among the top in the world with campuses across the US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia, is hiring a Talend Technical Lead / Architect. This remote role reports to the Head of Data Operations and Digital Solutions Teams, based in Singapore. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Talend Architect to lead the development, maintenance, and innovation of a scalable enterprise data management platform. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of hands-on experience with the Talend platform , including Talend Studio, TAC, TMC, API Services, Data Stewardship, Data Preparation, and Data Catalog. You should bring a minimum of 3 years in a senior or architect-level role , guiding enterprise-grade implementations. Other responsibilities but not limited to: Design and implement scalable data architecture and integration solutions using Talend Guide and mentor the development team on Talend best practices and architecture Ensure high data quality, cleansing, and enrichment processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data consumption across tools like Power BI, Salesforce, and Eloqua Contribute to Agile development processes using SCRUM and Jira The ideal candidate MUST have : Data modeling, integration, and governance Talend job and flow development Solid understanding of databases (Oracle, MSSQL, AWS) Programming languages: Java, SQL, SOQL, Python Software development methodologies: BDD, TDD, Agile Version control: Git/GitHub Experience with service management tools (e.g., Jira) Familiarity with cloud environments and various operating systems Key Competencies: Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication Strong analytical and architectural problem-solving skills Able to convey complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders Organized, autonomous, and self-driven with a high standard of work Strong documentation skills and attention to detail Team player with the ability to work in multicultural environments We carefully review every application and will reach out to shortlisted candidates who best match our clients’ requirements.
