Description
As a Manager, Sustainability at Honeywell Sustainability Center of Excellence (HS-CoE) in Madurai, your role will involve driving sustainability regulatory compliance, process excellence, and building domain expertise in Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Sustainability Engineering. You will be responsible for aligning COE strategies with business sustainability priorities, customer needs, and regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive the deployment of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Sustainability engineering practices across buildings and industrial automation portfolios. - Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and supply chain teams to prioritize LCAs based on customer requests and regulations. - Establish industry partnerships with LCA and EPD suppliers for capability development. - Work with internal teams to develop databases and workflows for automated sustainability assessments. - Stay updated on emerging sustainability regulations, business opportunities, and technological challenges. - Plan and execute Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in alignment with business goals. - Ensure sustainability programs meet quality metrics, timelines, and budgets. - Lead continuous improvement efforts to accelerate assessments and reduce cycle time. - Define and execute competency development plans. - Oversee performance development, compensation planning, succession planning, and rewards for COE engineers. - Foster teamwork, transparency, and fairness while communicating vision, ideas, and work requirements effectively. **Qualifications:** - Engineering or Environmental Science degree with at least 12 years of experience in product development, consulting, and sustainability practice. - Experience in managing large engineering teams. - Strong program management, process management, technology & strategy management skills. - Excellent executive communication and leadership skills. - Strong sustainability mindset with the ability to anticipate customer needs and regulatory changes. - People skills to facilitate diverse groups, negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts. - Ability to work in a highly matrix environment and manage constant change. - Strategic thinking and effective management implementation on complex projects.
