Job Description

Role Overview: As the IT Service Desk & Asset Management Coordinator, you are responsible for the efficient operation of the IT Service Desk and the effective management of the organization's IT assets. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional technical support to end-users, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues, and maintaining accurate records of IT assets throughout their lifecycle. You will also be involved in developing and implementing IT asset management strategies, ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements and regulations, and managing vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the single point of contact for users seeking IT support - Process incoming service requests and create service tickets - Assess ticket resolution timeframes and coordinate resolution schedules - Provide regular updates to users on the status of their requests - Assign tickets to appropriate technical staff and follow up on resolution progress - Close tickets upon successful resolution and ensure user satisfaction - Conduct daily ticket assessments, communicate with users, and create monthly ticket reports - Develop and implement an IT asset management strategy - Maintain accurate records of IT assets and manage the IT assets budget - Collaborate with the procurement team on vendor relationships and contracts - Track IT asset orders and deliveries, ensure compliance with procurement regulations - Provide guidance to the procurement team and collaborate with IT teams for asset deployment - Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and maintain policies for asset security - Provide regular reports to management and stakeholders on IT asset management activities Qualifications Required: - Basic knowledge in desktop and network support - Experience in troubleshooting Microsoft, Apple, and Linux environments - Familiarity with software applications like Microsoft OS and Office - Experience with Help Desk or Service Desk ticketing systems - Strong organizational and communication skills - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required - ITIL Certification is a must-have qualification (Note: No additional details of the company are mentioned in the job description.),
