Support Process Engg (GU) 3

Purpose/Objective

Responsible for generating and providing assistance for validating all necessary technical inputs/documents related to Process Engineering of Cement Plant (Main plant , BOP and its associated systems) , carrying out process calculations for project schemes, preparing tender documents and technical evaluation reports in order to meet project main objectives of cost , time and plant performance guarantees like capacity, heat, power and equipment life etc.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Deliverables / Responsible for (results)1. To assist , prepare and review of basic and detail engineering , Process calculations, Flow sheet and Mass Flow diagram, Heat and mass balance, project schemes, plant capacities, equipment sizing, material handling properties, project performance guarantees, Project specifications, project environment schemes to meet the pollution norms and guarantees, Drive list, design criteria and design safety manual , Tender packages, TCO, FSR, Environment report, Vendor selection report, Tender evaluation and report, Cost estimation, post project learnings, reports and presentations related to projects. 1. To review of Layout, GAs, Project Completion Report 1. To interact and co-ordination with Consultants, suppliers and plants and obtain plant performance feedback for data validation for optimisation and improvement of projects, organize & participate in meeting , Create data bank of existing and executed projects. 1. Assist during execution, FDS review and support in FAT, pre and post commissioning activities, validating plant performance guarantees trouble shooting and specific technical assistance as and when need arises to the running plants. 1. Responsible for results: Accuracy of specifications /data, Quality of documents, Clarity on scope and guarantees, Timely completion of activities, Adherence to safety standards and design criteria

Technical Competencies

Process Studies,Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies,Knowledge of Cost estimation and tender specification,Knowledge/Application of Autocad

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications Essential BE/ BTech in Chemical Engineering Desirable/Preferable Microsoft office / AutoCAD / Worked in plant operation and Projects Work Experience (Cumulative) Total Years (Band) 5 - 12 Years (Relevant) 5 - 12 Seniority (desirable) at least 8-10 years’ experience of handling projects Types of Organization MNC / Indian / Conglomerates / Entrepreneurial / Start-Up / Large Scale / SME / Listed / Hi-Growth / Stable / Process driven / Turnaround Types of Sector Cement Variety of experience Mentioned above Qualitative aspects Person should have knowledge of cement plant operation concept, knowledge of project activities like Tendering, offer evaluation, plant study and presentation skills, drawings study.
