Pipeline Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Engineering:

• Lead the development of

  detailed pipeline layouts, specifications, and engineering drawings

  .
• Perform

  stress, hydraulic, thermal, and flow assurance analysis

  for pipeline systems.
• Select materials, coatings, insulation, and corrosion mitigation strategies suitable for project conditions.
• Ensure design compliance with international standards (API, ASME, ISO) and client specifications.

Project Execution & Support:

• Coordinate design activities with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, civil, instrumentation).
• Support fabrication, installation, and commissioning teams with technical clarifications.
• Ensure design deliverables meet project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Leadership & Mentorship:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and design deliverables.
• Lead design review meetings and provide technical input for project planning.

Safety, Compliance & Integrity:

• Conduct design risk assessments and ensure pipeline integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recommend preventive measures for operational and construction safety.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare and review technical reports, datasheets, and design calculation summaries.
• Maintain design records, revisions, and approvals.
• Support client audits and design verification activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in

  Mechanical, Piping, Petroleum, or Pipeline Engineering

  .
• 8+ years of

  pipeline design experience in the Oil & Gas sector

  (onshore/offshore).
• Proficiency in

  CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, PV Elite, PipeLay, or equivalent software

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  pipeline codes, standards, materials, and corrosion engineering

  .
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
