In your role, you will be responsible for maintaining open communication with internal teams, delivering procurement updates, and aligning procurement activities with project financial objectives. Collaborating with regional procurement managers worldwide, you will actively share knowledge to optimize processes, procedures, and performance metrics. Building and nurturing strategic relationships with key suppliers will be crucial to gaining a competitive advantage in the market, ensuring a reliable supply chain, and promoting operational cost-effectiveness. Your duties will involve developing and executing strategies and processes that align with organizational goals, engaging stakeholders to define requirements, and cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers to identify opportunities for ongoing transformation. Regular evaluation of supplier performance, contract compliance, dispute resolution, and procurement expenditure optimization will be part of your responsibilities. You will contribute to the success of KES projects by interpreting relevant laws, rules, and regulations effectively. As a qualified candidate, you should possess a minimum of ten years of experience in supplier relationship management, Supply Chain Management, an Engineering-related field, or Procurement. Proficiency in the English language is essential, along with strong problem-solving skills, conflict resolution abilities, and the capacity to analyze information critically. Your ability to identify new opportunities and leverage them for the company's benefit, as well as your willingness to travel when necessary (up to 50%), will set you apart in this role.
