We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to lead our automotive sheet metal and fabrication manufacturing unit in Panchkula. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, operations excellence, and customer relationship management within the automotive sector. The role involves overseeing end-to-end plant operations, ensuring quality output, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining production efficiency and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the entire plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics. Drive manufacturing excellence and ensure adherence to production schedules and cost targets. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and statutory standards within the plant. Liaise with OEMs and key customers to understand requirements, manage relationships, and ensure timely delivery. Plan and maintain production pipeline as per customer demand and forecast. Optimize resources and implement lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives. Review and monitor KPIs related to production efficiency, quality, cost, and delivery. Support new product development, tooling, and process setup in coordination with engineering and quality teams. Drive cost reduction initiatives and productivity improvement across all operations. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Automotive Sheet Metal and Fabrication processes . Proven experience in Unit/Plant Management with exposure to high-volume automotive manufacturing. Ability to meet customer requirements and maintain high satisfaction levels. Experience in handling OEM clients and managing their expectations. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. Proficiency in production planning, quality systems (TS/IATF standards), and lean manufacturing. Strategic mindset with a focus on operational excellence and business growth. Preferred Candidate Profile: 12 - 20 years of experience in automotive sheet metal fabrication industry. Experience in managing a full-fledged manufacturing unit independently. Strong interpersonal and decision-making abilities. Based in or willing to relocate to Panchkula, Haryana.
