Job Description

As the Supply Chain & Vendor Manager at a tech-enabled B2B platform focusing on wardrobe and kitchen designs, your role will be crucial in managing the end-to-end materials ecosystem. You will work closely with the Head of Production to forecast material needs, place orders, and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics partners. Your responsibilities will include: - **Supply Chain and Procurement:** - Forecast and procure materials such as laminates, plywood, boards, hardware, and adhesives in coordination with the Head of Production. - Ensure minimum stock levels are maintained across SKUs to prevent downtime. - Track material consumption per project and update reorder logic. - Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, resolve delays, and improve terms. - **Vendor & Store Management:** - Build and maintain relationships with 15-30 key vendors, negotiating rates and tracking credit terms. - Monitor inventory physically and digitally, maintaining logs and audit sheets. - Supervise store/warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and proper labeling. - **Logistics:** - Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including pickups, deliveries, and packaging timelines. - Maintain accountability for materials dispatched to sites with project-wise tracking. - Establish local partnerships with logistics providers for flexibility and speed. - **Reporting & Tools:** - Maintain procurement tracker and monthly purchase reports. - Develop vendor scorecards based on price, reliability, and quality. - Digitize vendor database, catalogues, and rate lists for efficient management. To excel in this role, you should have 3-6 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or store/vendor management, preferably in the furniture, interiors, or modular segments. Familiarity with modular materials like laminates, MDF, particle boards, and hardware systems is essential. Strong negotiation skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and inventory tracking tools are required. A proactive, structured, and deeply accountable approach will be key to success in this position.,
