The role also requires strong exposure to infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, scripting, and observability tools, along with Agile practices such as backlog grooming and solution design. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the design, development, and automation of cloud-native data platforms on AWS and Databricks. * Own and drive the platform engineering backlog; participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives. * Actively contribute to KDD design discussions, architecture reviews, and decision-making processes. * Guide a team of engineers and ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and costoptimized data infrastructure. * Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools. * Write automation and orchestration scripts using Python, PySpark, PowerShell, and Shell scripting. * Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. * Ensure strong observability by leveraging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. * Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure seamless integration with data tools like Databricks, ADF, and Synapse. Role Requirements and Qualifications: * Strong hands-on experience in Cloud Infra (AWS, Azure). * Practical experience with deployment and configuration IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM). * Hands-on with real-world deployment pipelines CI/CD Tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) * Proficiency in automating cloud and data workflows in Scripting (Python, PySpark, PowerShell, Shell) * Ability to set up monitoring and alerting for infrastructure in observability (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus) * Working knowledge or real-time exposure preferred in Data Tools (Databricks, ADF, Synapse) * Experience in backlog creation, grooming, and sprint delivery in Agile practices. *AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer) * Exposure to networking concepts (VPC, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, etc.) * Experience in platform cost optimization and scaling best practices.
