Supply Chain Domain Lead

Position Summary

• Work closely with a global technology company’s supply chain teams to identify and unlock business process services opportunities
• Act as a trusted advisor with a consultative mindset to understand end-to-end operations, find gaps, and recommend solutions
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and influence decision-making at multiple levels
• Combine deep supply chain domain knowledge with problem-solving and commercial acumen to deliver measurable business outcomes

Primary Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and after-sales functions
• Walk the corridors, conduct on-site discovery sessions, interviews, and process reviews
• Map current processes, document workflows, and identify pain points
• Uncover opportunities for efficiency, cost improvement, and BPS solutions such as automation, analytics, shared services, and managed operations
• Design target operating models with clear scope, governance, and performance indicators
• Develop business cases, pricing models, and transition plans for proposed solutions
• Prepare executive summaries, proposals, and dashboards for leadership reviews
• Maintain governance structure with defined meetings, reports, and progress tracking
• Bring thought leadership on digital supply chain trends, automation, and AI applications

Skills and Experience

• 14+ years in supply chain consulting or transformation within high-tech, consumer electronics, or manufacturing industries
• Strong knowledge of planning, procurement, logistics, order management, and returns processes
• Proven ability to diagnose issues and create actionable, data-driven solutions
• Experience in building business cases and converting findings into funded programs
• Familiarity with ERP and planning tools like SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, o9 and analytics platforms like Tableau or Power BI
• Understanding of AI / Gen AI application & use cases in supply chain
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, complex environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with global device manufacturers or their suppliers
• Understanding of supplier collaboration, trade compliance, and inventory visibility
• Exposure to outcome-based pricing or gainshare models
• Knowledge of automation, AI, and advanced analytics in supply chain processes

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field
• APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or similar) is a plus
• MBA or master’s degree preferred
