Job Description

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting and coordinating supply chain activities to ensure the efficient flow of goods and materials from suppliers to customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying potential suppliers, evaluating them, and obtaining approvals. - Conducting ZBC and finalizing costs with supply chain partners. - Releasing purchase orders in a timely manner. - Coordinating and tracking purchase orders, shipments, and deliveries to meet customer and business requirements. - Monitoring inventory levels and supporting demand planning to prevent shortages or overstock situations. - Communicating with suppliers, vendors, freight forwarders, and internal departments to resolve delays or discrepancies. - Maintaining accurate records of shipments, inventory transactions, and supplier performance. - Assisting with logistics planning, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities. - Supporting the supply chain manager in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. - Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. - Preparing reports and metrics to track supply chain performance such as lead times, delivery accuracy, and inventory turnover. Key Competencies required for this role include: - Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making - Time management and prioritization - Negotiation and vendor relationship management - Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - 11 to 15 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory coordination (entry-level acceptable with strong internship/academic background). - Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and supply chain management software. - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
