Stylist

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualization: Collaborate with photographers, art directors, and producers to understand the creative vision and conceptualize the appropriate props and styling for each project.
• Prop Sourcing: Source and acquire a diverse range of props, considering style, period, and theme. Build relationships with vendors, antique dealers, and rental agencies to expand prop options.
• Styling Execution: Skillfully arrange and style props on set, ensuring they complement the overall design and contribute to the desired atmosphere. Pay meticulous attention to composition, color, and detail.
• Collaboration: Work closely with photographers, set designers, and other team members to achieve a cohesive look. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that props align with the project's visual narrative.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage prop budgets for projects. Source cost-effective alternatives without compromising the visual quality of the production.
• Maintenance and Organization: Maintain an organized inventory of props and oversee their storage and transportation. Ensure all props are in pristine condition and ready for use.
• Problem Solving: Anticipate and address any challenges related to prop styling, such as sourcing rare or specific items, and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Please note - The individual should be proficient in Product and Costume styling.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Film, Cinematography, or a related field: Formal education in mass media is preferred, not mandatory.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your proficiency in styling and a diverse range of projects.
• Experience: Proven 3 years+ of experience as a Stylist in editorial, advertising, or film productions.
• Creativity: A keen eye for aesthetics, color, and design. Ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas to enhance visual storytelling.
• Organization Skills: Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep track of various props.
• Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with a diverse team and bring the creative vision to life.
• Flexibility: Adaptability to work in fast-paced environments and accommodate the evolving needs of different projects.
