About the job: Job Title: Student Recruitment Department / Campus: Sales and Marketing Location : Mumbai / South (Remote) Scope of Role: India Reporting to : Manager - International Student Recruitment Job Purpose: We are hiring a Student Recruitment Representative to drive international student enrollment from India. This role requires someone with direct experience working with student recruitment agents, strong knowledge of the U.S. education system, and the ability to independently manage the student pipeline from inquiry to enrollment. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the role: Develop and manage relationships with education agents, sub-agents, and recruitment partners across India. Use CMUs CRM system (HubSpot) to manage leads, track communication, and monitor application progress. Follow up with prospective students and agents via phone, WhatsApp, email, and in-person (as needed). Provide accurate program information, application guidance, and enrolment support to students and agent networks. Coordinate with the U.S.-based Admissions and Operations team for document processing, interview scheduling, and I-20 issuance. Identify high-performing agents, onboard them into the network, and assist them with marketing and student queries. Participate in student fairs, webinars, and local info sessions when required. Minimum Requirements: 2+ years of experience in international student recruitment, preferably representing a U.S. university or pathway provider. Proven experience working with agent networks and understanding of how the U.S. admissions and visa process works. Strong communication skills in English written and verbal. Proficiency with basic tools like Excel, Outlook, and CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred). Highly organized with the ability to follow up consistently and manage multiple leads. Comfortable working remotely with flexible hours to accommodate different time zones and deadlines. Preferred Qualities: Experience in undergraduate or graduate recruitment for U.S. institutions. An existing network of recruitment agents is a plus. Motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with working independently in a startup-style environment.
