About the Role: We’re looking for a dynamic Student Engagement & Events Coordinator – Student Success Team to lead events and initiatives that enhance student engagement and campus culture. From concept to execution, you'll be at the forefront of creating experiences that foster community, leadership, and student success. This role blends event management, student engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. What You’ll Do: Event Planning & Execution Brainstorm and implement engaging event concepts aligned with IIDE’s culture and student interests Develop detailed event proposals and manage approvals Create and manage event budgets with cost-effective planning Document event expenses and ensure accurate invoicing and reporting Source and coordinate with vendors and suppliers Oversee logistics and ensure timely execution of all event elements Collaborate with the Social Media team to amplify event visibility Prepare post-event reports including expense tracking and success analysis Student Engagement & Campus Culture Lead student engagement initiatives that align with Student Life objectives Organize orientation programs and onboarding experiences for new students Act as the key point of communication for students; maintain the student handbook & newsletter Oversee a wide range of student events—volunteering, sports, entertainment, and cultural celebrations Manage large-scale campus events such as convocation and national day celebrations Support student development programs including leadership training and wellness initiatives Provide mentorship and logistical support to the Student Council, clubs, and societies Collaborate with academic teams and central departments for event reporting and planning Requirements Requirements: Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of experience in event management, student engagement, or related roles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) A proactive, student-first approach with a passion for community building Preferred: Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, PR, Marketing, or related fields Experience working in educational institutions or youth-focused organizations If you're passionate about building student communities and creating memorable campus experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
