Job Description

Student Counsellor

Student Support & Counseling

  • Academic Guidance

    : Provide personalized advice on course selection, time management, and overcoming learning challenges in the coding curriculum.
  • Career Exploration

    : Help students explore career paths in tech and align their learning with their long-term goals.
  • Personal Support

    : Offer confidential support for motivation, focus, and stress management.
  • Mentorship

    : Motivate students to stay on track, set realistic goals, and adopt a growth mindset.
  • Problem Solving

    : Mediate minor conflicts and foster a positive student community.
  • Feedback Collection

    : Collect regular feedback on the learning experience and suggest improvements.
  • Reporting

    : Maintain student records and submit performance and engagement reports.


Sales & Outreach

  • Program Introduction & Conversion

    : Conduct discovery calls with leads, clearly explain program features, and convert inquiries into enrollments.
  • Needs Assessment

    : Identify the learning and career needs of potential students and match them with the most suitable programs.
  • Follow-ups & CRM Management

    : Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects, manage CRM entries, and track pipeline progress.
  • Revenue Contribution

    : Take ownership of monthly enrollment and revenue targets assigned to the student counselling team.
  • Collaboration

    : Work closely with the marketing and admissions teams to optimize lead conversion strategies and improve student acquisition funnels.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Prior

    internship or work experience

    in student counseling, academic advising, admissions, or inside sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong listening and empathetic approach with persuasive ability to drive enrollments.
  • Confidence in speaking with students and parents alike, and addressing objections.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and basic tech platforms.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in

    edtech sales

    or academic admissions roles.
  • Basic understanding of programming and tech industry job roles.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English.
  • Experience in online or hybrid education environments.
