Student Counsellor

Job Summary We are looking for a Student Counselor who can guide students in choosing the right career path, courses, universities (India & Abroad) and assist them throughout the admission and enrollment process. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, counseling ability, and a student-first approach. Key Responsibilities Student CounselingCounsel students on Study Abroad & Indian Education options (UG, PG, Diploma, Professional courses). Understand student profiles, academic background, career goals, and financial constraints. Recommend suitable courses, universities, countries, and career pathways. Admissions & Application SupportAssist students with application forms, SOPs, LORs, CVs, and document verification. Coordinate with universities/colleges for offer letters and admissions. Guide students on scholarships, eligibility, deadlines, and intakes. Follow-ups & ConversionsHandle leads from calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, website, and social media. Maintain regular follow-ups to convert inquiries into enrollments. Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets. Visa & Process Coordination (for Abroad Counseling)Guide students on visa documentation and interview preparation (basic level). Coordinate with visa teams, trainers, and operations staff. CRM & ReportingMaintain accurate student records in CRM / Excel / Counseling software. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly counseling reports. Events & Marketing SupportParticipate in seminars, webinars, education fairs, and workshops. Support digital and offline marketing campaigns when required. Required Skills & QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree (Any discipline) Preference: Education, Management, Pharmacy, Science, or Arts background Skills Excellent English & regional language communication Strong counseling and persuasion skills Ability to handle pressure and targets Good interpersonal and listening skills Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM, WhatsApp tools) Preferred Experience Experience in Study Abroad Consultancy / Education Institute / Coaching Center Knowledge of UK, Canada, Australia, USA, Europe admissions (added advantage) Experience handling GPAT / Pharmacy / Professional course students (if pharma-focused) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Lead-to-enrollment conversion ratio Monthly admission targets Student satisfaction & retention Documentation accuracy and turnaround time What We Offer Attractive salary + performance-based incentives Professional growth and training Exposure to international education systems Friendly and growth-oriented work culture
