Job Description

Student Advisors


Role Objective:

To guide and support prospective students throughout their international education journey from enquiry to final enrollment in various countries, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and well-informed process tailored to each destination.


Key Responsibilities:

Student Counselling & Needs Assessment

  • Provide accurate information on courses, universities, and entry requirements across target countries.
  • Understand students' academic, financial, and career goals to guide them in selecting the right destination and institution.
  • Handle inbound/outbound calls, walk-ins, emails, and virtual consultations.

Country-Specific Admissions Handling

  • UK & Ireland: UCAS support, credibility interviews, SOP guidance, and financial documentation.
  • Germany & France: APS, uni-assist, language prep pathways, and block account guidance.
  • Sweden & Eastern Europe: Online application systems, fee structures, scholarships, and accommodation advice.
  • Malta: Course offerings, visa support, and pathway options.

Application Management

  • Assist students in preparing and reviewing applications, SOPs, LORs, and CVs.
  • Monitor and ensure timely submission of applications and documents.
  • Follow up on admission offers, acceptances, and enrollment formalities.

Visa Guidance & Pre-Departure

  • Guide students on visa requirements and documentation for all destinations.
  • Conduct pre-departure orientations including travel, housing, part-time jobs, and local regulations.

Liaison & Documentation

  • Coordinate with university representatives, partners, and embassy offices as required.
  • Maintain student records, CRM entries, and reporting tasks regularly.

Marketing & Outreach Support

  • Attend education fairs, webinars, and student seminars.
  • Assist the marketing team with lead generation campaigns, webinars, and social media interactions.


Job Specification

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum); Master’s preferred in Education, International Relations, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in international admissions/student counseling.
  • Proven experience handling multiple destination countries is a must.


Knowledge Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of admission and visa processes for UK, EU (Germany, France, Sweden, etc.), Ireland, and Malta.
  • Familiarity with student documentation, CAS/COE processing, and embassy requirements.
  • Understanding of global education trends and pathways.


Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to international student concerns.
  • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM platforms, and student portals.
