Structures Analysis Engineer - Airframe & Systems

Key responsibilities:

• Perform 

  structural analysis and stress calculations

   for airframes, subsystems, and components.
• Carry out 

  FEA simulations

   (linear, non-linear, buckling, fatigue, vibration).
• Define 

  load cases and boundary conditions

   in coordination with aerodynamics, propulsion, and design teams.
• Analyse 

  composite and metallic structures

   (sandwich panels, bonded joints, machined parts).
• Evaluate 

  static strength, fatigue life, and damage tolerance

   performance.
• Support 

  coupon, sub-component, and full-scale structural tests

  ; correlate analysis with results.
• Generate 

  stress reports, material allowables, and compliance documents

   for gated reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Review design changes and provide structural approval from a stress perspective.
• Ensure designs comply with 

  aerospace safety and certification standards

  .
• Maintain 

  documentation and data discipline

  , ensuring traceability of all analysis inputs and outputs.

Qualification required:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.

• 5–10 years

   of experience in stress analysis for aircraft or aerospace structures.
• Strong proficiency in 

  FEA tools (ANSYS, NASTRAN, Abaqus, HyperMesh)

  .
• Experience with 

  composite and metallic materials

   (design allowables, testing).
• Familiarity with 

  hand-calculation methods

   (beam theory, panel buckling, joints).
• Experience supporting 

  test correlation and validation

  .
• Proven documentation discipline for stress reports, BoMs, and gated reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR).
