Finance Manager (Strategic & Operational Finance)

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations and provide strategic financial guidance to the leadership team. This role goes beyond compliance and accounting — you will be responsible for budgeting, cash flow management, MIS reporting, and supporting investor and board interactions. You will work directly with the founders to drive financial clarity, discipline, and growth across the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and manage cash flow, burn rate, and spend planning
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Generate monthly MIS and performance reports
• Oversee revenue tracking, receivables, and vendor payments
• Maintain dashboards for internal and investor reporting
• Coordinate with external CA for compliance (TDS, GST, ROC)
• Support investor reporting, due diligence, and grant disbursements
• Build finance SOPs, tools, and internal controls

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in finance roles (startup/SME preferred)
• Strong command of Excel, Zoho books and reporting tools
• Experience in budgeting, cash flow, and financial planning
• CA Inter or MBA Finance preferred
