Job Description

Structural Engineer

Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures.
Develop structural drawings, specifications, and calculation reports.
Apply relevant design codes (ACI, AISC, Eurocode, IS codes, etc.) to ensure safety and compliance.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings and review shop/fabrication drawings.
Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate structural solutions.
Evaluate design modifications and resolve technical issues during construction.
Conduct site inspections to monitor construction quality and adherence to design.
Provide technical guidance for resolving field-related structural issues.
Support load testing, failure analysis, and retrofitting projects when required.
Maintain accurate records of calculations, drawings, and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Prepare reports for stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and clients.
Research and implement new materials, software, and technologies for structural design.
Recommend value engineering solutions for cost and performance optimization.
