Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join our Technical Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing structural designs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, and supporting project execution with accurate quantity take-offs and estimations. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesStructural Design & Engineering

• Prepare safe, efficient, and economical structural designs for residential and commercial building projects.
• Develop structural drawings, design calculations, and technical specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant IS codes, NBC, KMBR, and local authority requirements.
• Provide design-related technical clarifications during tendering and execution stages.
• Conduct feasibility studies and preliminary structural schemes during project conceptualization.

Quantity Surveying & Estimation

• Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, and material estimates from architectural and structural drawings.
• Analyse rate estimates and support cost planning for new projects.
• Track design-related variations and update quantities as required.

Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Participate in site visits to validate design implementation and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain engineering documentation, design reports, and version control.
• Support the Head of Technical in preparing project technical presentations and reports.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering preferred).

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in building structural design.
• Experience in quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, and estimation is preferred..

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD, ETABS, SAFE, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to interpret architectural drawings.
• Familiarity with IS codes, NBC, KMBR, and other relevant regulations.
• Excellent skills in MS Excel and estimation tools.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage timelines and work on multiple projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹158,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
