Strategy Consulting | Associate/Analyst Level | Not for Profit | 6 Month Contract (Extendable)

A Not For Profit Foundation that works closely with the Indian Government/Ministries and senior bureaucrats and stakeholders based out of Delhi is looking for 4-5 strategy consultants to :

1) Strategic Analysis of Ease of doing Business across various Indian States :

Objective

To analyze the Ease of Doing Business framework in various states, identify key challenges through research and expert consultation, and deliver actionable policy recommendations to Niti Aayog to accelerate economic growth.

Description

This project aims to strengthen economic growth by improving the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) framework. We will identify key regulatory and procedural challenges for businesses across various states through research and direct consultation with industry stakeholders.

The core deliverables will be actionable policy recommendations and detailed reports for Niti Aayog, designed to foster a more competitive and business-friendly environment.

The project may also support related economic priorities like MSME development and affordable housing.

2) Research strategy Expert | De-regulation & Ease of Doing Business in Trade

Objective

To analyze deregulation and ease of doing trade in India and research to assess gaps in the existing policies and process across critical areas , engage with stakeholders at different levels and develop reports to clients

Description

· Conduct in-depth research and analysis on deregulation and ease of doing business in trade in India, focusing on identifying key pain points faced by industries.

· Perform both primary and secondary research to assess gaps in existing processes and policies across critical areas of trade such as tariff remission schemes, customs, regulatory approvals and licenses, logistics and other relevant domains.

· Engage with stakeholders at multiple levels, including central and state governments, industry representatives, and key decision-makers, to gather insights and propose actionable recommendations.

· Develop high-quality, client-ready outputs that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to facilitate policy improvements and regulatory streamlining.

3) Research & Strategy Consultant | Health Services Export Report | Not for Profit | 6 months | Hybrid

Objective

To research, draft and analyse a health services export report for a Government think tank

Description

1. Health Services Export Report – Immediate Start

Timeline: 6 months

Start Date: Immediate (Ongoing Project)

Experience: 2-3 years ideally in consulting (strategy, healthcare policy, or economic research)

Location: Delhi preferred, but remote work is possible; should be open to travel for client meetings

Role:

The selected resource will support in-depth primary and secondary research, data analysis, stakeholder consultations, and the drafting of a structured policy-oriented report on India’s health services exports.

4) Research & Strategy Consultant | Education Services Export Report | Not for Profit | 3 months | Hybrid

Objective

To research, draft and analyse an education services export report for a Government think tank

Description

Education Services Export Report

Timeline: 3 months

Experience: 2-5 years, ideally in consulting or public policy research with a focus on education or economic strategy

Location: : Delhi (Remote work + travel for client meetings)

Role:

This role will involve structured research and report creation to assess and enhance India’s potential in education services exports – The selected candidate will work on landscape analysis, case studies, policy benchmarking, and stakeholder insights.
