Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Role Overview: You will be responsible for strategic sourcing of Mechanical parts such as bearings, screws, hinges, etc. You will also develop manufacturers for sheet metal, injection molding, and thermoforming. Your role will involve vendor scouting, negotiations, and working closely with the design team to optimize costs. Additionally, you will be involved in cost negotiations, building backup vendors, driving quality requirements, and establishing relationships with suppliers to collaborate for value optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Strategically source Mechanical parts like bearings, screws, hinges, etc - Develop manufacturers for sheet metal, injection molding, and thermoforming - Scout vendors and negotiate contracts - Collaborate with the design team to optimize costs - Negotiate costs effectively - Build and maintain backup vendors - Ensure quality requirements are met with vendors - Establish and foster relationships with suppliers - Collaborate with the sourcing ecosystem for value optimization Qualifications Required: - Highly organized individual - Excellent negotiation skills - Strong sense of ownership and accountability - Effective communication skills - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Purchasing - Previous internship experience in the Supply Chain function - A Master's degree in Supply Chain will be a plus Additional Company Details: You will have the opportunity to be a part of a forward-thinking company that is revolutionizing the culinary world.
