Job Description – Stores & Warehouse Lead

Senior Manager /Deputy General Manager (as per experience)
Role Purpose
To manage end-to-end Stores and Warehouse operations at the Butibori plant, ensuring accurate receipt, safe storage, efficient material movement, inventory accuracy, and timely issuance of materials to support uninterrupted production, audit compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complete storage operations for raw materials, consumables, packing materials, spares, tools, and finished goods.
  • Ensure systematic storage with defined bin locations and FIFO/FEFO adherence.
  • Supervise inward material receipt, GRN verification, quality clearance, and unloading.
  • Ensure timely material issuance to production as per daily and shift plans.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP MM / ERP systems.
  • Conduct stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and physical audits with RCA.
  • Coordinate inbound logistics and internal material movement.
  • Lead warehouse teams, define KPIs, shifts, and productivity standards.
  • Ensure EHS compliance, 5S standards, and safe material handling.
  • Implement loss prevention, scrap control, and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Finance, and EHS teams.

  • GRN and issue turnaround time

  • Safety and 5S audit results
Educational Qualifications
Graduate in Commerce / Engineering / Logistics / Supply Chain Management.
Post-graduation in Materials / SCM preferred.
Experience
12-25 years of experience in Stores & Warehouse management in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in large manufacturing plants preferred. Hands-on exposure to SAP MM or similar ERP systems.
