Stores Assistant

Experience (minimum 02 years experience in hotel industry or in retail stores & Purchase) two Wheeler driving license is required

Key Responsibilities:

• Following & Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods are strictly followed.
• Receive incoming goods and verify quantity, quality, and specifications against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Check expiry dates, packaging, and conditions of perishable and non-perishable goods.
• Coordinate with the Purchase Department and Accounts for any discrepancies or rejections.
• Ensure all items are properly labeled, stored, and arranged systematically by category and expiry.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene in all storage areas as per HACCP / FSSAI / hotel standards.
• Monitor temperature and humidity control in cold storage areas (where applicable).
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verifications and assist with inventory audits.
• Issue materials to various departments against authorized store requisitions.
• Record and update stock issuance accurately in the inventory management system.
• Maintain GRN (Goods Received Note), Issue Slips, and other related store documentation.
• Update stock ledgers and assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Department for reconciliation of invoices and stock values.
• Follow all hotel policies and safety procedures related to store operations.
• Ensure proper storage of chemicals and flammable materials in designated areas.
• Support internal and external audits with necessary records and documentation.
• Coordination with Purchase, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Accounts departments.
• involve occasional lifting or movement of goods.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
