Store Keeper

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of stock (manual & system-based).
• Issue materials to site engineers, contractors, and workers as per indent.
• Monitor stock levels and raise requisitions for replenishment.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of materials to avoid damage and wastage.
• Regularly conduct physical verification of stock and reconcile with system records.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports and submit to management.
• Coordinate with purchase and accounts departments for bills, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and vendor returns.
• Maintain proper documentation for inward and outward materials.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements.
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Mandatory:

   Experience as a store keeper in 

  construction/real estate projects

  .
• Knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, electrical, plumbing, finishing materials, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or store management software.
• Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage stock with accuracy and accountability.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
  

Qualifications:

• Graduate / Diploma (any discipline).
• 2–5 years of experience as a 

  Store Keeper in construction/real estate

   industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management and ERP software is preferred.
